What is my Haplogroup (Effect of Ancestral SNIPS in Haplogroup)

I am new at this and a bit confused.

I am trying to understand what Haplogroup I belong to. I see a lot of Derived/Positive SNIPS (Green) under Haplogroup R. But I also see Ancestral/Negative (Red)

Does having Ancestral SNIPS in a Haplogroup bar you from that Haplogroup? Am I Haplogroup R* or am I Haplogroup P*.

I would appreciate any feed back.
    Thank you

    My question is:

Does having Ancestral (Negative) SNIPS in a Haplogroup bar you from that Haplogroup?

I have a similar question. I have roughly 40 SNPs that are "tildes" for P or K2b2 and 30 positive for P or R [K2b2a2] and 80 that are "unassigned". Where would that place me as to Haplogroup?

Utisz - Everyone has an out of place snp or two. You have like 20 positive and 2 negatives for R, so you are at least R. To get more detail, do what RCO said.

Perhaps a need to redefine these SNPs and place them correctly. These Halpotrees can always change with time and not a writing on the stone.
