Any new R-BY3506 people in the past several months? I remember there was a Big Y sale several months ago, so wondered if we have any more since the summer.

    I live in constant hope!

I check the U152 STR and SNP results very frequently in addition to Googling and did come across a BY3506+ tester that I was unaware of with the ancestral surname of HARDOUIN (French) I found him in a public surname and French DNA project. He seems to have taken a SNP pack which covered BY3506 and I have emailed the admins of both projects and requested that they forward my email on to him but so far I have had no reply from either.

With regards to new Big Ys I am aware of none but there is a big backlog going back to August I think so it may be that there is one in the pipeline.

We actually have a fairly decent number of BY3506 testers now (the more the merrier though!) and we could really do with some more Big Ys to try and find more SNPs below BY3506.

On a personal note I'm desperate for another Irish BY3506 person, surely I can't be the only BY3506 family line to have ended up in Ireland!
    Paternal Y-DNA: U152>L2>BY3508>L135>BY3506 Estimated age of BY3506: 500BC
Most Distant Known Paternal Ancestor: Patrick Dillon, born around 1790 somewhere in Ireland (possibly County Mayo). Some of his descendants later moved to Manchester, England between the 1820s and 30s.

On a positive note before I took the Big Y test in Easter 2016 there were only two BY3506+ people, now we have 8 separate family lines (not counting those with the same surname)
