I’d like to think it was the DF27 guys who taught the L21 guys how to drink and fight.

Mean while... U106 guys where being invasive and showing up in everyone's early tumulus burials and battle axe burials and even getting mixed in with Roman age gladiator/soldier guys of ole' Driffield Terrace ;-p. Where the hell did they come from? :-).
Y-DNA: MDKA: 4th GGF Adam Weaver born 1785 in Pennsylvania - Sergeant in US 17th Infantry, War of 1812: R1b-U106-Z381-Z156-Z304/306-DF98-S1911-S1894/S1900-S4004/FGC14818/FGC14823-FGC14816/FGC14817. I share these SNPs w/ Roman Gladiator skeleton #3 from 6 Driffield cemetery SW of York!

mtDNA: MDKA: 3rd GGM Bridget Dana circa 1843 in Ireland - MtDNA - T2b2b - most common in Ireland, but with connection to Scandinavia aka T2b female warrior burial Grave Bj 581 near Birka, Sweden.

I wouldn't say they were showing up "in everyone's early tumulus burials". The one U106 from Oostwoud-Tuithoorn in the Netherlands had his own separate mound (Tumulus I), where he was interred along with a female, and it was later than the nearby Bell Beaker mound. The skeletons in Tumulus I dated to 1880-1650 BC, while the skeletons in the Bell Beaker mound nearby (Tumulus II) dated to 2300-1900 BC. The two bodies in Tumulus I were buried on their backs, unlike the older P312 Bell Beaker skeletons in Tumulus II nearby, which were buried in typical Beaker fashion on their sides, with their knees flexed.

I am not sure where exactly U106 came from, but thus far the oldest U106 skeleton yet found is the one from Lilla Beddinge in Sweden dated to about 2300 BC.
