    Question Gedmatch Mayan Results

I tried showing my gedmatch results on here, but kept getting an error cannot post links message.
I'm new to all of this stuff. I only want to know about my birth father.
I was told he's Peruvian and yet ftdna says I'm 3% South American and 43% North/Central American.
There is North American Native American blood on my birth mother's side, but not 43%.
I did gedmatch calculators that had Peru in them and my distance from Mexico, Mayan, Pima were so much closer than Peruvian anything.
Am I just not that Peruvian?

If anyone is willing to help me understand my results I can pm my kit number or results?

Or maybe it's just simple enough to answer here.
I've been asking everyone and no one seems to reply.
If they do it's as if they think I should already know the answers.

    Thanks in advance.

Their South American is based on Karitiana and Surui, these are Amazonian tribes. They didn't use Quechua references, this is why you score more Central than South. Peruvians are more similar to Mesoamericans than to Amazonian tribes. In ancient times during the peopling of the Americas there had to be separate migration routes 1) along the western coast of Meso and South America, and 2) into Amazon.

This makes sense. Gedmatch has me at 7 percent south amerindian and 28 mesoamerican. I guess you add them together then?
