Just fyi, of the 310 DF19 members, over 220 have done Big Y.
I think one of the two admins is STILL waiting for his "new" Big Y result...

Here is the penetration of Y111 in these two large subclade projects of R1b-P312:

    DF27: 52.3%
    L21: 55.8%

How does U152 compare with that? or U106?

I was honestly surprised that DFY27 has made this much progress. They can not be underestimated. They also have 41.8% Big Y penetration.

U106 currently has 47.5% of its members (4157) having Y111 STR results. This does not include the folks who are still pending Y111 results. In addition, we have 33.2% of members with current Big Y results (not including pending results). We also have 77 kits without any STR results (mostly Genographic Project results, but may also include autosomal results where the individual has tested U106+ via other testing companies).

Checking the pending results, I counted 155 pending Y111 STR tests and 130 pending Big Y tests. This would raise the percentages to: 51.3% 111 STRs & 36.3% Big Y.

Thank you, very impressive. I haven't tried to count pending tests for L21 and DF27 but these three big subclades (including U106) of L151 are quite active. I hope U152 is coming along.

I posted this elsewhere but just to consolidate it here:

As of today U152 project has 2144 members of which 595 (536 completed, 55 batched, 4 ordered) are BigY tested (27.8%)

    We have 845 members (768 completed, 73 batched, 4 ordered) who have ordered 111 test (39.4%),1524 with 67 markers (71.1%), 1924 with 37 markers (89.7%), 1961 with 25 markers (91.5%) 2056 with 12 markers (95.9%), and 88 members without any STR results.

Another 138 BigY orders don't have a 111 test completed/batched/or ordered. Once these are added 45.8% of all members will have 111 marker results (47.8% of all STR results).
