    If a tester is confirmed M417 on another site, do I still need to order round one panel by default? or is Super Clade Panel sufficient?

    How was he tested M417 on the other site? SNPs or based on STR signature?

    If you are quite confident he is R1a or M417 you can do the R1a superclade panel. Otherwise you can start with the Top-Level Orientation panel but this adds a lot of extra costs.

    If you are not sure, you can throw it in the group here and let us take an estimated guess.

    He tested 23andme and was assigned M417. He expressed his interest to pay for his own test, and is considering FTDNA. So we shall see.
