This time I run an unsupervised ADMIXTURE on a whole dataset which is basically two datasets combined (Lazaridis and this new Russian one).
See k25.scores file for the detailed results for each individual in the dataset.

So this is a completely different approach compared to my previous calcs.

There are so many new calculators! Trying to keep up. Things look correct for my group relative to one another on the NE Europe/Mediterranean split. I like the idea of going unsupervised and it doesn't bother me that means Europe just has the two major components. It is a little hard to assess the minor ancestry, but things seem to be in good order there, too, for the most part and as far as I can tell:

Looks good. Yes I have Taino/Arawak Amerindian from the 1500's since I am Puerto Rican.

Techncial question. In first run you have correct results, or you tried many different K runs? Or you excluded some references because of inconsistency?

randwulf, Glad you like. In fact I think Europe has at least 3 components here: NE-European, Mediterranean, Caucasian (maybe even 4 with Uralic which is basically on the border of Europe and Asia geographically).
I also like the unsupervised approach because there is not too much overlap between components which is a problem in case of supervised calcs in which you try to represent some regions e.g. Europe more densely.
I may try to increase the number of components even further till there is a component which peaks in NE-Euro and at the same time there is a component which peaks in NW-Euro. I am not sure how many components I need in unsupervised ADMIXTURE to get this but I will try

I've tried only with K=3 and K=25 really. K=25 took like 3-4h to complete. I am using all the references. I am not sure about inconsistency. I think unsupervised ADMIXTURE can handle inconsistency in a better way than supervised.
