Did you mean these two populations:

Or Bashkir + this population (tajik):

Mori yek, I will post the results for Tajik-Bashkir component later today once I am back at home but I guess it was really about Tajiks and Bashkirs and not Tatars. I admit this is strange.

Northwest-European is somewhat a proxy for Mediterranean.
Megrel-Abkhaz and Chechen-Kumyk are related Caucasian and also may be a proxy for West-Asian and MENA ancestry as well.

Just checked and really Tajik-Bashkir is a component that peaks in Tajiks but it also somewhat present in Uzbeks and Bashkirs.

According to Wong et al Mansi are 57 % something Komi-like and 43 % something Evenki-like, the former might explain some of the result? Just guessing but I'd still say that Proto Uralic speakers might have been an ANE-rich group, maybe looking like Mansi without the Evenki mixture, what ever that then might be. Some kind of archaich Yamna type, without much Farmer admixture?

Karelians are biased towards Komi, apparently because of contact based admixture, I'm kind of diluted version, I'd guess, even if I'm East Finnish and sort of Karelian too, by descend.
