Has Anatolian N been looked at yet anywhere? Could be relevant to Indo-Uralic contacts and exchanges pre-Indo-Iranian.

Take what you will from that about the spread of Y6503.
It is unknown who brought it to the place. Iranic origin is a plausible speculation, one that we cannot prove or rule out. There were no samples of the SNP from anywhere where those tribes reportedly hanged out yet.
If it proves to be true, it could be a strong case in favor of West/South Siberian/Central Asian origin of N and even NO. My guess would be the area not far from where NO's greatuncle Ust'-Ishim was found.

If this is the case N should show up in the WSHG samples in the new South/Central Asian paper. Unfortunately all samples were female and I have a suspecion even if they weren't YDNA Q or some form of R would show up instead.

Hello, your N-maps are fantastic!! Where do you keep the Map directory you mention above? How did find enough data to generate your N1a1a1a1a1a1a1a7 map in Lithuania ? One of the paternal lines in my family is N-Y38823 for yfull kit : YF77810
