Just hope if it is another change, then they have learnt from the fiasco of last year. If I remember correctly. more than a few of us got our updated estimate through a back door trick.

I did get an email from them saying there was an update a couple days ago. I wonder if this is when all those who refused or didnt update were force updated?
well, i checked and many still have the older (better) estimate

No change for me either, and I would be shocked if there was an update that went back to the old Great Britain and Ireland/Scotland/Wales categories.

It seems strange that Ancestry would be doing another ethnicity update so soon after the last one. The reasons I can think of are as follows:
- They have kept on collecting more samples after the last update and are now adding these in
- They had a lot of complaints after the last update (or not enough people chose to switch) so they are re-analysing the existing samples
- They are keeping the analysis the same but are just re-labelling some of the regions.
If it is the first option, I hope they have focused on the weakest regions from the last version
My results haven't changed since the last update.
Noyhing has changed for me but I do notice that some of my matches have Ireland/Scotland/Wales and Great Britain as catergories.
Some of mine do too, but when I compare my results to theirs I get a message saying they haven't updated their results yet, so some areas of overlap may not show. And then when the comparison is displayed it says "updated" above mine.
