Giving this test a go. They are supposed to break down your genetic contribution by country.

Have you tried them yourself and, if so, do you have any results to share?

Whilst their test price seems on a par with a number of other companies I'd need to be convinced of the benefit of shelling out another 70+ on an unknown test.

I just swabbed today. I have seen where some have rated it the best test?????? I like the way they break down results per country. I've been doing a test a year now for several years so........ Anyways I will share when I get my results in about a month or so. My biggest concern is geopolitics playing a role in these tests. I used to have Syrian-Iranian matches on 23&me four years ago. Now I do not show any. Funny. Since Castro died I am getting Cuban matches.

I'll definitely be interested to hear how their results compare to the other tests you've undertaken.

I'll share. I see the primary genealogist is Slavic so that is good. But he still works for a American university. Like I said there is no doubt geopolitical circumstances also have some influence on the results of some of these tests. That is sad.

I can't find the one I found two weeks ago. This person provides a summary of her results.

The timeline shown in the results seems very interesting and I'm intrigued to hear accurate it turns out to be.

The author of the summary reports that 'They would ship anywhere in the US, but not overseas'. That's unfortunate and rules me out at this stage I'm afraid.

Sorry. That might change in time. That being said did you read some of those reviews? Those people are clueless and ignorant. Not a single one of them knows a single thing about any of their ancestors from over 200 years ago let alone 500. Most of us if not all of us know any specifics that far back. I know nothing past two generations of my family because I do not come from a close family. Scary reading some of those reviews.
