Yup you are most similar to MVirdi. He is Virdi from Hoshiyarpur.

What exactly is Steppe in this chart? Siberian_N? Perhaps, I don't have a WSHG rich steppe source? I believe you told me that there are different types in South Asians?

You already sent me and I checked them all. Let me make you clear that the "Nepalese-22" (Xing et al Nepalese-C sample) is one of the least IVCp/AASI Chhetri sample, not a typical sample in G25. It's South Asian ancestry was an exact copy (same IVC/Steppe/BMAC) of your own co-ordinates.

There's another interesting high IranN Chhetri sample who's like a low BMAC Rajasthani Gujjar and is an exact copy of Gujjar GJ27.

All of them are highest IranN variation among Chhetris but Nepalese-22 is additionally high Steppe like yours. When more samples from West Himalayas show up, these kind of profiles will be easily found imo.

You and mvirdi are basically lower steppe than other Tarkhans. Siberian M is not the best proxy for EHG, but it kind of gives a rough idea. I'm actually surprised how similar you and Mvirdi are, interesting coincidence.

It's quite apt as well, considering I am paternally Virdi.

This is why I said coincidence. Aside from the surnames, you and Mvirdi doesn't share the region or even Haplogroups. I think PG and HD are the lowest SI Tarkhans, and I would be on the higher side (which is purely inheritance considering my parents are less than me).

Is 31.2 NPL_Chokhopani_2700BP showing the Iran_N percentage or partly has it?

So @desi and Mvirdi are not directly paternally related. But is Virdi considered a "clan" name and they are supposed to have same direct paternal ancestor?
