You are right its not recent , but the ethnogenesis occured in that region or very close to it, as this is the early Indo Aryan stomping ground. Its safe to say if you have a member like say Agent lime and people in his community modelling out as 95% Udegram they have their ethnogenesis in this region.
Definitely some of their ancestors would have crossed modern day KP thousands of years ago. Hindu Kamboj samples are probably from Haryana or even western UP where they are found.

And how about the Kohistanis, do they have any of it?
Yes Kohistanis do , people say Tibeto Burman but populations who mix with these people would be like Burushos or like Nepali Chettris, I would imagine. Also from what I recall Tibeto Burman populations expanded late in Kashmir. The Kohistanis are a good example they live in isolated mountain valleys in the Swat and score East Asian, so the chance of them mixing with Tibeto Burman populations is exceedingly rare and some of them have an ancient genetic profile , with some clustering close with even older Udegram/Loebanr samples, I modeled them in the Summer , I will dig up their results .

Its not the same as Pothwari Rajput. Its quite remote, in fact.
And I think she isn't the only one complaining, there is no Pothwari Brahman average either. I have found a few gedmatch kits, and this one, which is my only relevant result on gedmatch one-to-many adna comparison. I am trying to contact this bloke to share his raw data with David.

    1 Baloch 38.48
    2 S-Indian 31.88
    3 Caucasian 14.38
    4 NE-Euro 11.32
    5 NE-Asian 0.84
    6 American 0.79
    7 Siberian 0.65
    8 SW-Asian 0.58
    9 Beringian 0.45
His harappa caucasian and NE Euro is higher than mine, however his Siberian/NE Asian/Beringian/American/SW is much lower than mine.

I though she was asking about generic caste averages like gujar, brahmin, jat etc

Are they? I score quite close to them and I don’t think I score like a rajput.

These groups differ hugely, from region to region. Lumping them, spanning regions, together isn't feasible.

Personally, I would like to see a few more Rajputs, from Pothwar, especially the Janjuas and the Minhas.

Pothwari Rajputs have a comparatively different profile, than the Hindi Heartland Rajputs.

We have already seen results of 2-3 janjuas, they score like pahari-punjabi. But on G25 its unlikely we will get rajput average.

Rajputs can differ from region to region.
