I've updated the post with many new and simpler graphs. They are after the conclusion section. Thanks!

Thanks, Chad. Some of the ones above that make cousin marriages among my ancestors look rare by comparison.

Looks like it should be an interesting blog; I recognized you as one of the better commenters on Davidski's blog so I figured it was worth checking out. The first post was not disappointing. Hopefully you'll keep it up!

Thanks, everyone! I will have a post on European farmers coming soon. I have some cramming to do for school, but I will crank them out as fast as I can. Following this will probably be something with MN farmers and then European hunters. There could be a few farmer posts that split up the Balkans, central Europe, and the Atlantic.

Chad, any chance you could do more work on the Iberomaurusian genomes that came out a few months ago? I think they're an interesting population that warrant a deeper investigation, being that they seem to occupy an ambiguous, hard to define position between Eurasian and SSA populations. I remember a while back you also tried looking into African population structure more generally, and I'm curious to see how those guys might factor into any deeper pan-African phylogenetic investigation.

Sure! I plan on going back and looking at all the major papers. The para-Eurasian-type deal looked kind of promising. I'll get to it in time.

Hey Chad, excellent work! I kind of want to try some qpgraphs now, the gr1x example on github isn't really explained. Could you show me any qpgraph output with it's corresponding graph file just so I can get a side by side to know what means what?
