Will start analysis in depth later this week. Traces of Botai in what? Botai doesn’t seem to have contributed to WEurasians. Hardly anyone scored Botai in this calculator. Any slight sharing likely to be common ANE ancestor —> EHG. If I remember correctly the authors concluded Botai to have split off of from EHG ancestors about 14K years ago, and subsequently received about 20 % E Asian via Baikal HG, who split from Han about 17K years ago. I also remember reading Botai receiving an additional ANE pulse post split, resulting in Botai having the highest ANE at about 70%

    NOTES:

1- With regards to points 1 & 2 in opening post, notice the English subject scores 0 Pakistan IA and Turan EN-CHL, unlike in previous ancient calculators.

2- Although there is considerable overlap between W and E Scythians, notice how the English test subject chooses W over E Scythian, whereas the opposite pattern is observed with many Asians. This is mostly due to the finer resolution in this calculator.
Who is your Turkish sample? Could you add me to this run?? Thanks.

    Great work!
Can you check with Pole_A1 sample also? There is lack of central-east Euro in your examples...

P.S. Kurd it is supervised calc?
And you use 150K SNPs, every sample has this number, or some have lower genotype rate?
Lats question - it will be on Geneplaza only?

I'll run it tonight (US time). 150K is maximum overlap. I'll check FTDNA vs 23 overlap tonight. Final version will make it to GenePlaza.

    @ KingJohn

    Will do yours tonight also...

Some components such as WHG and Ukraine_N are there as WHG and EHG overflow components to catch any alleles missed by the Chl and EBA European and steppe components.

The A and B designations in Saka TienShan and Hun refer to slightly western shifted (A) and slightly eastern shifted [ B ]. The calculator seems to discriminate between the 2 inspite of them having a high number of overlapping alleles. Check for example results of Kurd_C3 (Iraqi) on previous page.

I think it's not suprising? I would expect such results.
