I have a feeling you're not going to be happy with the amount of AASI you score

I've repeated it multple times but with the recent 2018 VM Narasimhan and Reich paper, the ANI and ASI terms/model are obsolete. We now have Indus Periphery (which is Iran N [majority] + AASI + West Siberian HG [ANE]), Steppe and AASI.

If you want to force these populations into the original model, then Iran N + West Siberian HG (ANE) + Steppe can be lumped together with ANI (though West Siberian HG is distinct but this is for simplicity purposes) and AASI is ASI.

I think AASI also has some ANE admixture given the Paniya are nearly 1/3 ANE but only 1/4 ANI

I thought we’ve already established from that recent paper that the outdated ASI is actually Iran N mixed with AASI. Or it was Indus Valley mixed with AASI. Indus Valley itself is a mixture of Iran N + some AASI. Correct me if I’m wrong. It starts to trip you up lol

That's more or less what the paper suggested. ASI is Iran N + AASI (majority). That's why the terms ANI and ASI are obsolete. They've been replaced by Iran N, West Siberian HG, Steppe and AASI.

Indus Periphery in the 2018 Narasimhan paper is Iran N (majority) + West Siberian HG + AASI (minor).

It is way less vague than ANI and ASI as well, now rather then seeing south Indians as separate population, we have more unified model with a nice gradient of admixture changing with region and castes.

I'm personally glad ANI and ASI are gone. Although some users are still using and quoting it from outdated papers. I would probably insert slowpoke meme here.

haha @ R1a brotherhood. I was sort of expecting that, but his mtdna was strange. Apparently N1e, according to wikipedia, Haplogroup N1e – found in Balochs,[27] Burushos,[27] and Buryats[15]

Also, both 23andme and Ancestry finished their analyses within 2 weeks of receiving the kits. My parents' kits should be in next week, since I mailed them a week later.
