V13 Haplogroup connected with Polish ancestry

From what I know, my fathers line is directly from Poland for many generations. Why would this Haplogroup appear for someone with clear polish decent? Is it not fully broken down?

Here is YFull's E-V13 haplotree. Seven entries are explicitly marked as Polish. E-V13 is somewhat common in the Polish Project sponsored by Family Tree DNA.

So I used a subclade predictor and this is what came up:

    E-CTS1273 (E-CTS2374, E-CTS5371)

    Do you have any thoughts?

So you have Y-STR results. From FTDNA? If so, please join the Polish Project so I can give you a better assessment.

I don't know how much you can do for me since these results aren't technically from FTDNA

I see. Then all I can do is point out that YFull's E-CTS1273 haplotree has 6 members marked Polish (POL). Look for the one(s) that share your region (voivodeship/województwo).

It's interesting, I didn't find the region associated with my family (wielkopolskie), they were from the Gniezno area

I got the very same using Morleys,i ws trying to find out more about that subclade as I Know as far back as mid 1700s family history and from Chester UK a Roman settlement but family tales say we are from Scotland but I have found no fact to back that up,being from Chester that group seems to exist around Roman settlements
