If anyone wants their G25 coordinates included in the tool itself (so that you can compare yourself against others), let me know. Also, this tool currently only supports Scaled coordinates.
Is this a monthly, yearly or one time cost?

To be included one needs G25 coordinates and what else. I have my brother's data V3 from 23andme, but I yet to have send back my kit to MyHeritage, hopefully I can do that today. Please guide. Thanks

I do NOT want to restrict basic features (such as running your own coordinates) for AG users. I learned a lot from this community, so want to give back. I will, however, restrict extra features to sponsors simply because they take additional server resources. I am not treating this as my commercial endeavor, but my hobby. So, I want to keep as much free as possible. That being said, sponsors are always welcome... after all, those servers ain't gonna pay for themselves. But no obligations at all. I will also list all sponsors in the app itself (if agreed upon by the sponsor of course).

Here is how I am thinking right now. Let's say I have 20 sponsors paying $300 total. That allows me to lease an awesome server for at least 3 months or a decent server for 6 months. Once paid for, this app can just continuing running for the next 6 months. Hopefully by then there is Global30 lol... the core code will still function and I just need to update the spreadsheet data. By then, another funding is necessary.

So, just give your scaled coordinates if you're AG user. I will include those in the app for free.

The lower the number the better the 'fit' ? What is regarded as an acceptable fit ?

there seems to be a bug. When you repeat the run with one fixed sample, the percentages change each run in that same sample.

The result is directly from nmonte's output. What could be happening is that the outgroups are currently spread out across many individual samples, for example, you're selecting "Sintashta_MLBA" and not "Sintashta_MLBA:I0939" and, to keep things a bit faster, ncycles is set lower than the default.

Still, the nature of nmonte is using random values to guess the shortest fit distance. Small fluctuations in percentages AND fit will be there each time with the current configuration.

It depends, but I would say fit distance above 5 is pretty bad for the most part. When I'm modeling, I am looking to bring things down to below 2. Still, if one sample's fit for a model is 5 and another sample's fit for the same model is 8, we can see that the first sample's fit is relatively pretty good lol
