    British & Irish -- 26.5%

    Broadly Northwestern European -- 32.2%
    Broadly Southern European -- 1.5%
    Broadly European -- 4.5%
    East Asian & Native American -- 0.1%

One of my great grandparents was an adoptee, so that introduces a wildcard, I guess. I wonder how much the questionnaire about known ancestry has any influence. And it seems that all of Russia falls under 'broadly European.' I get so many different results from GEDMATCH and other models, it boggles the mind

I didn't give it anything on known ancestry, since all my grandparents were mixed and were born in the US, and I think that's what they asked about.

Yes I think you're right! I've several matches from Eastern Europe and sometimes they have high Broadly European. The fact that I'm mixed through all over Europe didn't help, but 70.3% Broadly I would never have thought of it...

44% Broadly is too high I guess you have several different ethnicities from Northern Europe it could explains why.
13.7 Broadly in total is perfect I would like to have such low Broadly results...

Possibly. Though there may be other factors messing with it as well. These are the ancestry maps that Gencove came up with. The first based on the 23andme data and the second based on their own sparse sequenced test.

    gencove update 1-15-18.jpeg

    gencove map with sequenced kit.jpeg

I'm showing these because they are more specific than 23andme's map and they are consistent with what I see on many calculators.
