    Sardinian update

Did they get rid of the sardinian category on 23 and me in the new update?

I have the update, and Sardinian is still on the list of "all populations". But I don't score anything on it, and didn't before the update.
Ancestry paper trail tally: 21.1% Colonial American (British Isles, German, Dutch, Swiss, French), 14.1% not traced past 19th Century United States (MD, NJ, NY, PA, VA), 7.8% Canadian (Ontario & Quebec), 40.6% German, 15.6% Czech, 0.8% British & Irish

Someone just PMd me to ask about my background. In case anyone else is interested in how real my 0.6 percent Sardinian might be (excellent question), here's the answer. I discovered after receiving the result in 2015 that I have an ancestor born in the "kingdom of Aragon" (no further details given unfortunately) at a time when that included Sardinia. So I guess it is possible she was from there. It could just be noise of course but interesting that three generations of us carry it.

thats weird i have the update but the list of all populations doesnt have sardinian. I used to have sardinian now i dont but when i look at compare relatives my dad still has sardinian. unless his wasnt updated yet but i think it was because i no longer see east african on his

i did get new categories put in mine i now have french and german i dont know if that could have been from the sardinian but i know the french and german is from my moms side but i actually had more sardinian than my father.
