11 posts deleted due to a common breach in section 6.6 of our ToS:

6.6 Individual bans/suspensions are not for general discussion on the forum as they distract from the forum's intended focus. Any open threads or posts relating to these will be managed accordingly. Instead, if members of the community wish to learn about another member's ban/suspension, they must contact a member of the administration via PM directly to address their inquiries. Additionally, existing members must not post any content on behalf of banned members.
    Furthermore:

1- We expect our regulars to comply with our ToS in its' entirety and do not understand why several have decided to break a longstanding Term (above).

2- Should it need to be stated, this forum's administration (consisting of almost a dozen individuals with diverse backgrounds) have no ideological commitment to either of the sides argued here. Further, none of us have participated in this discussion. Insinuations of bias are therefore without merit.

3- We (the administration) adjudicate over member reports as a collective. This is how most infractions take place. We rely on your reports to ensure this forum is a civil environment for the exchange of reasoned ideas & opinions or facts. Expecting omnipresence on our part in this regard is unreasonable. If you take issue with another member's behavior, we expect a report as part of that feedback process. We also expect you to not interact similarly, as this will make you an accomplice to any potential ToS breaches committed by the other party.

4- Per section 6.6 above, we will gladly disclose the basis for a member's suspension or ban in private. PM us and we will provide details. This stipulation exists to both minimize the accumulation of trivial content (speculating over why a given member's no longer here clearly doesn't forward any anthropological or genetic discussions) and provide our community with transparency (perhaps a futile gesture on our part, given the penchant for some ex-members to lie about their eventual bans from here).

Please consider this post as a warning against any more OT continuing the subject of the deleted posts. Any more OT regarding banned users will be deleted and infractions for a breach of section 6.6 will follow.

    Thanks for your cooperation.

Apologies if already covered earlier in this thread, but checking out this Reich presentation https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ef4OlJwzxxE, looks like they found one "farmer" Y in Iberia by 250BCE.... so perhaps someone will be slightly pleased (not that this changes anything in the period of interest!)

(Looks like an I2 based on the colour scheme of the other plot Ruderico provided earlier, which looking to have the same colour dots roughly in the same places, plus some extras in the above. Black dots look like females and grey I'd guess are unclassified y males).

Seems to be from 17th October, so a bit mysterious to me why they have more apparent samples plotted here than the presentation 8th November... Also a lot more overlap for some equally mysterious reason.

Also, a simple run of Yamnaya_Ukraine and Iberia_N on moderns will produce that 60/40 split that he's referring to in this slide.

The combination of Iberia_CHL and Yamnaya_Ukraine produces a worse fit and arrives at something like almost 70/30.

It gets pushed back to 60 Iberia and 40 external with the addition of the only Ostrogoth that we have.

It will be interesting to finally read the paper . . . sooner rather than later, I hope.

I'm very surprised that the farmers have no T, E and only one possible R1b-V88, even with this huge sample size. Earlier Iberian cardial ware culture farmers had E-V13 amongst the more common G2a. And it would be very interesting if and how many of the pre invasion folks are the ancestors of modern G2a spainards.
