I believe this is as specific as it may get for Haplogroup I1:

Unfortunately for these purposes, I2 has a number of subclades, so I will send you to this page. They show a variety of maps for the various subclades of I2. I1 has less map variety (right now at least), considering nearly 99% of the members of I1 belong to I-DF29 (and subclades) and this group seems to have spread out of Southern Scandinavia/Jutland-Northern Germany area.

I found two maps on gentis.ru for I1-M253 and I2a2a-M223. I2a1-P37.2 also has a map but none of the frequencies on the map are in the British Isles. Percentages are shown on the bottom-left of each picture.

Looking at I-M170 as a whole, the distribution of I seems to be higher around Eastern England, Scotland and Northern Ireland. This is very consistent with the areas where the Vikings landed during their invasions.

The People of the British Isles project has some of the Y-DNA haplogroups by region in their preliminary paper here https://www.nature.com/articles/ejhg2011127 and there's a bit more of a graphical overview in one of their newsletters here https://peopleofthebritishisles.web....sletter1_0.pdf - they don't distinguish between I1 and I2 - they're just going off marker M170 and comparing the amount to other haplogroups.
