They are indeed just like Punjabi Biradari types. This individual seems to have excess WSHG . Unlike Gangetic Brahmins and many of the other Gujarati Brahmins , this sample doesn't seem to descend from Haryana Jat types, because he has more Iran_N and similar AASI levels.

Which means that the Adhikari could be Y9xY7 like me, or Y4xY6 - there is Bangali sample who is Y4xY6 https://www.yfull.com/tree/R-Y4*/
    Under L657 23andme tests both Y7 and Y6.

Or this could be a completely new line under L657, currently only two lines are known under L657 - Y9 and Y4.

There are Nepalis that are both Y7 and Y6. I haven’t really seen anyone that got Y9. Idk the particular mutation in him will probably related to other Nepalis since we are isolated for quite some time, but ofc similar type of lineage could be found in other regions of South Asia as well.

Well, I don't have access to his 23andme profile; all info available was from gedmatch beta version and was written only "R-L657". These 2 kits are likely Bahun and has matches with tons of Bahun kits. These two kits are Y9*Y7 and Y4*Y6 respectively. Maybe he has strains similar to them.

Yea, "Nepalese-A" (made up of Bahuns) comes 1st in the oracles of Vaishnav and Nanavati.

This guy is paternally Shahi Thakuri of Jumla + Jharra Chhetri and maternally Jharra Chhetri + Kumai Bahun/Brahmin. His maternal side, a combo of Bahun-Chhetri, reduced his East Asian to some extent, so I estimate the unadmixed Shahi Thakuri to be almost half Indic half Tibetan. His Y-DNA haplo is C2b and mt-DNA is M per Wegene. This means the medieval 14th century Kalyal sovereign Valiraja of Jumla state, an important king in Khas Nepalese history is likely C2b since these Shahis of Jumla appear as authentic descendants of him. If we take a look at their family chronicles, we find the King Valiraja to be mentioned as patrilineally descended from the "Sisaudiya Rajputs of Hindu Hamir lineage" which is an unsubstantiated claim imo. Imo, they were paternally most likely a Khasa Kshatriya clan like the Katyuri/ Chands of Kumaon/Western Nepal rather than a Sisaudiya Kshatriya from the plainlands.

Please share any info and shed light on this Y haplo "C2b"?

C2b is considered an East Asian/Mongol line for the most part.

Claims of rajput descendants of rajasthan is one of he most bogus thing prevalent in modern time. I wonder how the rajputs from pakistan, Kashmir to up, maharastra claim their ancestry from Rajasthan rajputs, when even the rajputs of rajasthan are mix of various tribes and rajput word was just a title rather than an ethnic group. This sisodia thing is utterly false..even Shivaji was claimed from sisodia clan of rana pratap..a banarasi priest was bribed for that.
