Looks like Khaati-jangid-suthar follow similar pattern to Punjabi Tarkhan/Ramgariha in their state of Rajasthan. Very very interesting ! I had once said to a friend that suthar, khati, jangid can score different to general perception.
He's clearly a Jangid Vishwakarma based on his fb profile, his family and kins use surnames like Jangid, Sharma and Vishwakarma. They follow a fb page "Suthar Jangid Vishwakarma Samaj"-caste organization.

He matches good 28 cM with the confirmed Saraswat Brahmin; his profile look no different than Brahmins; they're at least of Brahminical descent.

You are right on first but not correct on second. Khaati is a separate community comes under obc, matches means nothing. That doesn't mean the Sharma who is brahmin and khaati guy belong to same community. Khaati are caste similar to Punjabi Ramgariha ( an occupational based carpentry community). Historically, either they might have been Brahmin ( probably Saraswat or who knows some other sect) took to different profession under various circumstances or could be some other reasons. Point here was on the samples's present community.

Interesting. Internet searches showed Vishwakarma Brahmin and the kit looked ditto Brahmin+Sharma title; so wrote. I was also surprised how a Vishwakarma (occupational caste) was referred as a Brahmin; is this also called "Kaami" (occupational/metalsmith caste) like Monkeydluffy says Punjabi Tarkhans are also called "Kaami" in Punjab? In Nepal, "Vishwakarma" and "Kaami" are synonymous word for the same metalsmith caste- weaponry, jewellers/goldsmiths and metal workers. I wonder if this same pattern continues for "Kaami caste" from Nepal compared to Nepali Brahmins?? How do they score ditto? Do these occupational caste have a direct or shared ancestry with Brahmins of their regions??

Btw, how do you write/pronounce Khaati -->खाती?? Surprisingly, "Khaati (खाती)" is a Kshatriya (Chhetri) name in Nepal rather than Brahmins or occupational castes.

Khaati word similarity 1000 km apart doesn't mean same. The word khaati would be in many community of different region but the context would be different. It is the context that can give some idea

I don't think so in east it would be same, various results in some papers gives the idea of it. It is mostly related to Saraswat Brahmin case.
I had once told a friend that if Ramgariha are scoring same to Punjabi Brahmin, Khati-Suthar-Jangid of RJ- portion of GUJ, HR can also do it wrt Brahmin of their belt ( got to do with Saraswat Brahmin).

Well, this is a case of sanskritisation. Just like many castes which started claiming kshatriya descent during the colonial censuses for various reasons, vishwakarma(carpenter, ironsmith based occupational groups) communities across India started claiming brahmin descent.

This Saraswat Brahmin's relative 188cM match second cousin is that Pachori guy (y-haplo:R-L266, mt haplo:M30) discussed above.
I was expecting khatis to be score similar to Punjabi tarkhans...
At present they're not Brahmin but it is strong possibility that they could be from Brahmins in ancient times.
Reason could be similar to Tyagi's, bhumihars.
As they're claiming themselves jangid Brahmins
According to genetic it is right but according to present scenario they're not Brahmins.
But if we are considering tyagis or bhumihars Brahmins then we should also do this same with Jangirs but only According to history.
