    Basic maternal DNA question

So, being female, I inherited two x chromosomes. One from my father and one from my mother.
Question: is my maternal haplogroup (H1e) from my mother lineage only??? Or is it my father's mother's haplogroup??
FYI, my father is not alive to test

Your maternal haplogroup refers to the sequence of your mitochondrial chromosome, not your X chromosomes. It is inherited from your mother, her mother, her mother's mother, etc - though the sperm also has mitochondria, you inherit the ones from the egg.
