London and Glasgow seem to be on every bodies list, they were first and third on my list.
Yes, I think so but most of the regions are not in the ballpark
Paper trail ancestry to the best of my knowledge:
English (possibly containing some Welsh ancestry) 31.25%, Eastern European and Eastern German (Galicia, Poland) 25%, Scottish 17.96%, Scotch-Irish 12.5%, French 8.2%, Native American 1.95%, and Colonial American, 3.125%, which cannot be determined with complete certainty: there is Dutch (at least 1.36%) and some English. The rest could include Spanish, Norwegian, German, and French, but these percentages would be minuscule.

Yes in your case it is a bit hit and miss. I had the same with mine very good in parts, average in others.

However it is a huge step forward in attempting to regionalise results within individual nation states. I remember not that long ago, companies were only be able to give results on a continental scale.

In Scotland - The Highlands, Argyll, Glasgow, Edinburgh/Fife
In Wales - mostly South Wales/Glamorgan, Pembrokeshire, a bit from North Wales, Wales borders
In England - North/NW England, Yorkshire, Somerset, Manchester, Shropshire, Devon
In Ireland I just don't know, Ireland in general is usually mentioned in my family records.

French&German, Scandinavian, etc. are not broken down by 23&Me yet.

What is the wording they use in regards your French and German etc ancestry in not breaking it further?

The percentage is pretty much on the money - 2.5 to 4.5% as I have a gggg grandfather, Calib Kurfees, from Rheinland-Pfalz, West Germany. Nothing in France.
