    LM Genetics Chromosomal analysis

Lukasz ran a K36 chromosomal analysis and the report is attached. His words :
I didn’t make clusters in your case, most positions are very averaged, you see in oracles or component breakdown. But “Balkan” group partly is real, you have in few chromo very high East Balkan component level so I can’t exclude it as just similarity. I wonder it is connected to your south Italian side. If so Arbereshi Albanians maybe, lived in south Italy....

You can see my basic background in my signature, and save for a Hungarian (or Slovak or Romanian, not sure ethnically what he was) 7th great grandfather, and some French Canadian.

Thoughts on the Balkan thing? Pretty sure its the Italian but my haplogroup is heavy in Albania and Greece so I cannot ignore that...

Another thing is the NL Ashkenazim that pops up a couple times. I always assumed the Ashkenazi %'s I get were just confused Levant signals related to South Italy, but maybe not? I only have a few % on various tests...

Slavic-German combination (Big East-West Slavic cluster and smaller East German, Balkan, South German and Dutch clusters).
Lukasz analysis is much more accurate than tha SPA analysys (http://http://genetics.cs.ucla.edu/spa/):

You must be logged into google, then open google maps, after that you can make your map and import your data from a csv file (coma separated values, for example: id,latitude, longitude).
After that you can play with design...

Got my analysis back and the conclusion was you are mainly British / Celtic. FR_Brittany which you have in many chromosomes could be proxy for SW England many times.

Most of my chromosomes averaged at around Brittany and Western France. Lukasz concluded that it may be actual ancestry or as he said a proxy for Cornwall.

It is well worth the money spent and I was impressed.

Would you say it corresponds closely to the results of your K36 analysis? Which I’m assuming you’ve also had done.

I am currently having Lukasz update it, I had one done beginning of last year and he has added a few features since then. I am pretty much Cornish/SW English and I would expect the updated report to reflect that. I have attached the graph included in my Chromosomal report. Lukasz thought I had a bit of old Norse ancestry and of most interest to me possibly some ancestry from East Germany.
