So it's likely to look similar in the early stages but diverge in future. Based on this blog by Roberta Estes https://dna-explained.com/2018/10/10...ial-haplotree/, it seems to indicate that FTDNA wouldn't diverge from Phylotree at least as of last October, but they could change their approach in the future.
I should've check my wording more before I posted. Yes, I know its an analysis rather than a test and yes, FTDNA haven't updated their tree in a while. Hopefully this entices people to upload so the tree can be expanded.
Known ancestry - English, Scottish, Irish, Welsh, Croatian, Bosnian, Ashkenazi, Polish and Māori.

We are all over the place although I am “a” not “e”.
I should have done my mtDNA full seq with FTDNA when I had the chance to do it for less than 50 USD, they don’t seem to offer YFull testers the same deals any more.

YFull found a new subclade for my haplogroup. My haplogroup is now H6a1b2f. It was worth the $25!

I had been told by Ian Logan that C979T was distinctive, found in only one other GenBank sequence and found in only your closest relatives (within a few hundred years, or perhaps much less). He had also told me at the time that one of the submissions (now on YFull) was a match in the GenBank database and from Scotland.

They have a couple under mine, which they don't at FTDNA, so maybe it will be worth it.

The ones that give a location have Italy, Iran, and Hungary. My matches on FTDNA are few and all stuck in the US (although very likely to go immediately back to the British Isles or Germany in the 1700s, and they all -- all of 3 full matches and a few others who haven't done the complete test -- seem very likely to be related to me within the US based on what I've found so far tracing back maternal lines).

My dad's doesn't seem to have any under his FTDNA results, and far fewer countries given (the US, Finland, and Russia). On FTDNA, a huge number go back to the same woman in Suffolk (though many different lines), but otherwise the closest matches are Scandinavian (but for one Scottish one), including some with 0 GD. TMRCA est. 3200 YBP so with that much time of course it's all over.

My own is TMRCA 10,300 YBP at the level it's given on FTDNA, but seems to be pretty rare.

Just pointing out that this also worked for BAM files from Veritas Genetics/PGP and my mtDNA reports from YFull match those from my initial FTDNA Sanger sequencing and those reported by FGC, so at least in my case data appears to be being processed correctly.
