Baltic people and some Russians have 10-15% extra HG but Poles, Ukrainians and Central/South Russians not more than 5%. If you use Progress_Eneolithic or Yamnaya only most of their extra HG is EHG-like and not SHG-like but HGs in Ukraine or the Baltic were very SHG-like to they unlikely got it from HG populations west of Russia.
Yes true, but it's not exceptional to me if certain Eastern European populations had some Maykop influence.
Although replacing Maykop with a sample with limited Steppe/EHG(Kura Araxes) input it still gives Ukrainians some extra post-BA West Asian admixture.

there you are right the Slavs have a little bit absorbed some of Iranian peoples (Alan, Scythian ..) Most the Tatars (Crimea, Kazan ..) but most and Volgabolgars (Chuvash) I think in East Slavs that you have absorbed a little bit some Scythian and Alans at the Western Slavs are a little bit avars (Slavic, Iranian Uralic mixture) as West Slavs have also absorbed Germanic tribes and Celts but normal Eastern Europe is a big Plain of History of rulers and migration
