I think this forum needs an "All Fantasy" section for the members who are into fantasy tests.

MTA tends to overestimate the sharing of cM with ancient samples.

instead of Fantasy which is a bit, not accurate, i would say it's accurate to an extent... if you reason by exclusion and globally it's really accurate, for example i have many (like dozens) of matches from lebanon, and italy and turkey. probably means i have ancient ancestry from there. i don't have a single north european one (gaul , uk etc), so it probably means i have very few ancestors from there (i can't say none)

It'd be pretty easy to filter that out based on a simple admixture run.

Can you prove that any of your top IBD/cM matches are accurate and real?

    You're not making any sense.

Of course it's possible to prove the accuracy of ancestry tests with a variety of methods. All it takes is a few samples from each test to see how they compare to each other and some reference samples.

The question is, can you actually demonstrate in some way that your IBD/cM results have anything at all to do with reality? Show us some output from another test that more or less matches your top list.
