    Region matches

So this is just from crowdsourcing correct? I have regions in England/Scotland, Ireland, and Germany. For the most part I am fairly certain the majority of my family has been in the US since at least the 1700s. Couple exceptions on my mother's side (family from England and Germany born in 1820s). How does this work exactly? It takes DNA matches for me, and based on where they say their family is from matches me to these regions? I don't really get North-Rhine Westphalia as the family I traced to Germany was born in what is modern day Rhineland-Palatinate. Though they do border each other.

My top regions are crap- no known ancestry from the London area and the bulk of my Irish ancestry is from Tipperary, not Cork.

I wouldn't put too much stock into them yet.
Ethnogene (most accurate so far IMO): Frisian 2.8%, Scottish 19.2%, Welsh 2.4%, English 29.0%, Irish 31.7%, Cornish 1.9%, Irish Traveller 4.0%, French 2.6%, Dutch 1.0%, German 1.8%, Western Indian 1.1%, Central/Southern Ashkenazi 1.0%, Norwegian 1.5%

The ones I have outside of England and Ireland are better. My Swedish one is right on, my German one isn't, but is in the ballpark.
