    Similarity map:

Interesting that similarity to northern Poles (even northern Western Poles) is higher than to Belarusians:
    (Kashubia 73, Wielkopolska 70, Mazovia 70, Suwalki 72, Lithuania 75, Latvia 74, Estonia 84, and so on)

Just wanted to ask, what do you think all numbers mean?
After I read your brief text I thought you wanted to say that mesolithic population, that lived in modern Poland, and represented by individ, analyzed in Fernandes et al. 2018, contributed more genetic admixture to modern Poles, and neighboring Belarus got their WHG admixture from somewhat similar, but slightly different WHG population. Did I understand your point correctly?

I guess, the numbers you published only mean that modern Balts (first of all Estonians) have more WHG admixture than modern Polish people from Northen Poland, and North Polish have slightly more WHG admixture than Belarus. This could happen because Northern Polish have a little bit more Baltic ancestry than Belarus.

P.S. I agree that it is very interesting to understand which WHG populations contributed more to modern Europeans and which less. To understand that we need to compare different WHG populations and their affinity to modern Europeans, but not one WHG sample to multiple modern groups.
