Around six months ago, I collected data for L1065 and created a SAPP chart:

    http://www.rcasey.net/DNA/Temp/L1065...20201227B.html

Here is the source file for the analysis (includes L1065 prediction model):

This tracks your assignments to surname pretty well except for the McLea,
Campbell and Urquhart assignments. There is a strong connection
of Campbells to BY23069 and the only Urquhart found is BY37340.
I did not find any McLea and Livingston testers.

Thanks Robert much appreciated. The Urquhart and McLea Chiefs tested after you put together the data for the L1065. As for the the Campbells, I will look into, however if I recall correctly I was informed by Kevin Campbell the Admin of the FTDNA Campbell Project that I should place the Campbell Chiefly line as L1335>L1065>FGC10125.

When you originally posted on the FB Group (R1B L21 I believe), you were very kind to answer a number of questions I had, for which I am very thankful. I have watched your Youtube videos on getting data into SAAP, eventually I would like to try to do what you complied for L1065, with L1335. I assume that I would have to be an Admin to various project to have access to the data/format required, am I correct in this understanding/belief?

Armstrong is ZZ37, and one of the Covesea Cave samples, I2860 is ZZ37 and is dated to around 900 BCE.

I did a google search and came across this which looks like it might be of interest to you (although I just did a very quick skim and did not read it):

    From the MacLean FTDNA Project:

    "Y-DNA Results
About 75% of the confirmed or predicted Y-DNA Haplogroups for project members are R1b1a2 and its subclades with R-L193 and R-M222 being the most common. Member results are grouped by terminal SNP where this has been confirmed which has allowed us to group individuals with a recent common ancestor. For example, SNP L193 is believed to have emerged within the last 1200 years or so. Results during the past year from Big Y testing and skilled interpretation by haplogroup projects is providing a steady stream of downstream SNPs which is allowing us to identify clusters of members sharing ever more recent common ancestors.

Unfortunately, I am not tracking the MacLean Chief Y DNA testing. There are four persons claiming paternal descent from the McLean Chiefly lines. Three of the four are L193+ with the forth being other. Would be great if someone could convience the MacLean Chief to take a Big Y Test.

Lastly, it looks like David Vance might be of assistance:

Thanks. I do match a lot of McLeans, they are however a different branch to me.
