Does G25 clearly differentiate between the West Eurasian sources in Mari/Udmurt, Komi, and Erzya/Moksha? If so that's very interesting indeed! Have you seen anything like this?
Just check my other thread about the Balto-Slavic admixture in Uralic populations - the Mari and Udmurts apparently have none (the Komi got 35%):

"Europe_Northeast" are the Levanluhta Saami samples, and "Europe_Eastern" are the Bolshoy Oleni Ostrov samples.

So the Mari and Udmurts have no extra Balto-Slavic above the level which exists already in "Europe_Northeast".

Maybe I worded it wrongly. They can have some BS-like ancestry, but not anything beyond the level present in Levanluhta ancient Saami samples.

Thanks! I'm more interested in the non-Balto-Slavic West Eurasian ancestry of populations like Udmurts, Mari, Komi and so on, now that we know they have no/little BS drift. Do you have any G25 that can shed light on this?

Using Ukrainian as the Balto-Slavic proxy here. Udmurt and Mari seem to be mostly Levanluhta_IA. Most of their massive 25-35% East Asian (kra001-type) ancestry is also absorbed by the Levanluhta component. What's interesting is Udmurts seem to have significant Sarmatian/Scythian ancestry/affinity while Mari seem to have negligible to none. But the distance fits for the Mari are horrendous (they are very drifted in G25) so don't take it literally as the Maris could have substantial Sarmatian/Scythian-related stuff as well. Both of them have little to no Balto-Slavic while Komi has a lot according to this run. They also seem to have minor Central Asian/BMAC-related input unlike other Uralic speakers.

Take the model as a grain of salt though as the results can be different depending on the population included or removed.

Not that I am aware of. There is a monograph by S.A. Fedoseyeva, briefly mentioned in this article, which apparently discusses the relationship between Ymyakhtakh and Seima-Turbino. Unfortunately it was published in 1980 and is not available online.

While the metallurgy at Abylakh I is very interesting, 1500-1210 BC is subsequent to the main period of Seima-Turbino activity. Although, according to Dyakonov, Ymyiakhtakh had spread over "Northwest Asia" by the 17th century BC.
    https://www.researchgate.net/publica...RES_IN_YAKUTIA

There are problems with connecting the Siberian component in Uralics to this Arctic movement. For instance, kra001 was drifted in the direction of the Siberian component in modern Uralics, compared to the Ymyiakhtakh samples. This suggests that the Siberian in Uralics, split off from the Yakutia Ymyiakhtakh population sometime before 2336-2135 BC (kra001). Just so all possibilities are accounted for, western Ymyiakhtakh groups in the Arctic, could have been drifted in that direction as well and thus kra001 could be derived from them (migrating directly south). Not sure how likely that is though, nor do I know how early Ymyiakhtakh spread west ("by the 17th century BC").

According to this article, "Waffle" and Glazkovo ceramics were found together in the Kansk-Rybinsk basin. The low population density of the area could allow for the coexistence of Glazkovo and Ymyiakhtakh populations in the region. Maybe related to the identity of kra001?
    https://cyberleninka.ru/article/n/br...yanie-problemy

Finally, there is the issue of language itself. Put succinctly, the construction of Proto-Uralic does not contain "Arctic" vocabulary.

Teepean47 has posted all of the samples from the upcoming Anglo-Saxon paper with Y calls. SWG009 is the only N sample (N-Z4908). According to one of the leaked images, samples with the "SWG" id are from Rathausmarkt, Schleswig ~1050-1250 AD.

Maybe there is a better place to post this(?), but here are the only N guys from the Southern Arc papers.

    I17442 Romania, Brăiliţa 901-1029 calCE N-L708 G3a1'2

"The skeleton is a male, 30-45 year-old, with osteoarthrosis and three trephinations on the skull."
"A medieval individual from Ploieşti Triaj (I10495/ROU_Ploieşti_Mdv; 982-1021 calCE) also has no detectible Balkan hunter-gatherer ancestry but steppe-level of EHG (~36%) and clusters with the much earlier samples. This individual fails the 5-way admixture model using qpWave (p<1e-8) and has substantial East Eurasian ancestry in ADMIXTURE analysis (11), suggesting that it is in fact has ancestry from medieval nomads from the steppe and thus not derive in a simple way from the earlier people of the region. A medieval individual from Brailita (I17642; 901-1029 calCE) shows a similar pattern to the Ploieşti individual."

    I20573 Turkey, Çapalıbağ, Yeşilbağcılar-YTEUAS (Aegean, Muğla, Yatağan) 1404-1440 calCE N-A9416 U4a1d

"Genetically male; adult between 34 and 47 years old."
