    I have no known Norwegian ancestors in my family tree but 6% Norwegian at Ancestry DNA test. Was one of my ancestors adopted and secretly Norwegian? Or was one of their fathers not their true biological father? Well, my mother is taking the Ancestry test, so with this I can isolate it to one side.

    I have a couple of fully Norwegian ancestors at Myheritage, but I score no Scandinavian there and only 1.1% on 23andme (which I suspect to be Viking).

    It's very likely you have distant Norwegian ancestry through the Vikings, although it may be no more distant than that.

    As I've said I only score Scandinavian on some services and not others. If this is the case for you it seems like it could be recombined Viking.
    Ethnogene (most accurate so far IMO): Frisian 2.8%, Scottish 19.2%, Welsh 2.4%, English 29.0%, Irish 31.7%, Cornish 1.9%, Irish Traveller 4.0%, French 2.6%, Dutch 1.0%, German 1.8%, Western Indian 1.1%, Central/Southern Ashkenazi 1.0%, Norwegian 1.5%

    I get 1.4% Scandinavian at 23andMe, so Viking it is! I have ancestors from around Viking founded Waterford, Ireland, and also from Lancashire in England and the Danelaw.

    I got 5% Scandinavian from Ancestry. Depending upon the GEDmatch calculator used... I get one of the Scandinavian countries as a primary admixture. The last evaluation of my raw data showed 3.8% Scandinavian, another 1.8% Danish which was listed as western European. I'm inclined to say this is simply a supporting ethnicity (part of the make up for the North Sea region) for my North German, English or Scottish.

    For me : FTDNA = 6% (Original) , 11%(upload from Ancestry)
    23andMe = 0.8 %
    Living dna = 0%
    Ancestry = 0%
    My heritage = 11.4(paid) , 11.5(23 upload) , 10.3(Ancestry upload) , 14.2(FTDNA upload), 10.4(Living dna upload)

    I think you should check some of the GEDmatch calculators and the oracle tests.

    I get ~40% Scandinavian at MyHeritage which is very ridiculous as a Hungarian. I have a very pale skintone, but I don't think I have this amount.

    But: At my Oracle I have Scandinavian peoples in my top 20 in every case. Mostly Swedish for 1., Danish for 2., and Norwegian for 3.

    However the Austrian, Serbian, Croatian, Ukranian, Romanian, Russian people are closer to me in these results.
    I always like to get advice/opinion on my results. Hidden Content

    Bell Beaker are long dead and buried. You are alive 4000 year later, so (a little bit) shifted but still recoginzable BB like lots of NW Europeans.....including Norwegians.
