    New excavations beginning at the Vero Beach site in Florida

    This will be interesting for studies of the first Americans.

    "Excavation of one of the most important Ice Age sites in North America – the Old Vero Man site in Vero Beach, Florida, is expected to begin in January 2014"

    This is old news, but here is a link to a piece on the discovery of a mammoth bone engraved with a drawing of a mammoth in the Vero area.
