    Dear group members,

any information about this haplogroup? It seems to be rare and I dont find a lot of information about it other that its possible origin is Scandinavia.
    Thanks in advance!

In the K project at FTDNA, there are 23 people in the K1d/K1d1 group, which isn't huge, but isn't as small as many other K subclades (there are also a few very large ones). Looks mostly mixed northern Europe for the people in the project or their mt line ancestors if they reported correctly) -- Scandinavia, UK, Netherlands, Germany, Poland, one Italy, and some unknowns.

A K1d skeleton aged 1883-1751 BCE was found in the Netherlands. Bell Beaker culture. By one estimate, K1d is about that old.

Dont you think its older? That would be a pretty "new" branch then

As you have seen, the new Yfull estimate is older.
