Best friend's result. What is the likelihood his "Arab/Egyptian/Levantine" is real?

His known ancestry is at least 50% English, 25% French-Canadian, and the rest Irish.

He scores 0.3% "Arab/Egyptian/Levantine" and 0.1% "Broadly West Asian and North African." This is not common for people of his ethnicities, so I cannot imagine it is something ancient.

What is the likelihood it represents actual ancestry from the last 250 years or so?

I would think very low. Probably noise IMO.

Is that his first ever result, or a new result with the upgrade?

So I take it he didn't have anything non-European before?

I recently got upgraded and now show 0.5% Broadly West Asian and North African. I've only had a few matches on these segments across the board, and they're all Sephardic Jewish.

Given his Broadly Southern Euro as well as this, I think a Sephardic connection is possible. Is he of Dutch ancestry by any chance? A lot of Sephardim married into the gentile population.
