Gardezi Sadaat members that I know are Naqvi. Including the E-M34 guy that I mentioned.

The two branches of Gardezi Sadaat descend from two brothers who migrated from Mashhad to Gardez via Sabzawar during the Mongol invasions of Khorasan, their names were Mir Syed Shahabuddin and Mir Syed Shamsuddin. The former settled in Kara-Manikpur in what is now Uttar Pradesh (the branch which my great grandmother's stepmother was descended from) and the latter settled in Mewat in Haryana.

As all bukhari sayyids are descendants of Jalaluddin Surkh-Posh. I think bukharis are by definition Naqavi. But I'm not sure. I think I read it somewhere

Yes they are

Gardezi Sayyids technically claim to be Mashhadis rather than Bukharis.

Mashhad is holy to the Shia because it has the grave and mosque complex of Imam Ali al Ridha (known as Imam Ali Reza in Iran). Rizvis claim descent from him.

Hey guys my brother done 23andme and under the North Indian & Pakistan the top one he got is Uttar Pradesh followed by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa which makes sense since we come from a town on the border between Punjab and Khyber. Though Uttar Pradesh was a bit out of place at first glance.

Can anyone tell me where the Y DNA comes from? There’s no information on it on the internet that I could find, 23andme says it’s very rare.

I would not say your Y-DNA it that rare. Definetly not in a South Asian or KPK/Punjab context. The clade is under C-K98, which is common in South Asia but was also found among Tajiks (both in Tajikistan and Afghanistan), Pashtuns and Gulf Arabs (likely with recent Indian, Baluch or Central Asian ancestry). It is distantly related to C clades in South-East Asia, so it looks like a good candidate for a ASI/Pre-Neolithic South Asian HG lineage.

Interestingly one 35000 years old HG from West Russia (Kostenki) was according to Yfull under C-K281*, which is a upstream of K98 but diverged from it already 50000 years ago. Today the Kostenki C-K281 has it closest relatives in South China and South Asia (K98).
