Another thing I noticed about you is that you don't score any of the extra "Eurasian" that most Somalis score.

He still shows the Early pastoralist like ancestry when Ken_P is added.

I've also noticed that It seems that the runs don't like allocating modern populations for my Eurasian DNA.

When I used deeper layer runs, it's even more apparent.

Here are the results, I believe that his high affinity towards extra Natufian/ Early pastoralists may be evidence of some sort of population similar in levels of Eurasian to early pastoralists living in northern Somalia that were absorbed my Somalis during migrations from the South. There is actual evidence of Pastoralism in Northern Somalia , near the area of Harar and Djibouti long before Somalis or Eastern Cushities populations perhaps Jibrils genome provides evidence of this.

I also seem to have a weird affinity towards other African samples, my distances are different from other Somalis when compared to Dinka and Iberomaurusian for example which itself may point to be having ancestry that other Somalis lack? Perhaps Hunter-gatherers that survived the initial Early pastoralists, and were subsequently absorbed by a few Somalis that just to happen to survive in my genome?

I did the same runs with myself and my mother for you guys too compare.

It varies from individual to individual but i think out of the entire "Somaliweyn", Western Somaliland (Gabiley and Awdal),Djibouti and parts of Ethiopia. We carry elevated Mota ancestry.Perhaps,we absorbed those mysterious Adalites/Harla or we gained Oromo admixture during the days of the Oromo migrations or possibly both those scenarios happened.Either way we are clearly different from our brothers of the Waqooyi Galbeed and east of that region just like the Kenyan Somalis are different.

So I've run some more admixture runs and found that using Ethiopian Mursi as a proxy for Horners African ancestry is significantly better than using Dinka + Mota.

I wonder if this means that the ancestors of Cushitic peoples mixed with a population more similar to Mursi rather than Pure Nilotic. The ancestors of Eastern Cushitic peoples mixed at a ratio of 60% Mursi like And 40% Eurasian like.

Interestingly the same result goes for Ken Pastoralists.

They seem to have mixed at a different ratio of 45% Mursi like and 55% Eurasian like and mixed further with Mota related peoples to create Early Pastoralists.

Mine and Jibril's are still bad compared to the average Somali fits so the genomes of Northern Somalis may differ.

Kenyan Somali is only 61% and I'm only 75% which is astonishing.

Seems really interesting. ANd it seems like somalis are around 50% sub saharan, while ethiopians can even get down to only being 1/3 sub saharan.

Horner genetics are honestly interesting. Horners might be one of the most diverse people on the earth, due to the caucasiod/east eurasian differences between the groups
