Additional samples/results (more family members have tested since my previous post).

Family members with rs1426654=AA are noticeably a lighter shade than those of us with rs1426654=AG

I was able to accurately predict my family members' rs1426654 alleles LOL

But your rs16891982 CG gives the lighter color.
I'm about the same skin tone as Kirtan, and so is my dad. 23andme predicts me having "light beige skin" as the likeliest while it predicts "light brown" for my dad.

For genomewide association studies to determine skin pigmentation related SNPs, skin tone is measured in relatively hairless, sun protected parts of the body:https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2276347/
In a cohort of South Asians divided by region: Eastern mainly Bangladesh, western mainly Gujarat and Punjab and Southern mainly Srilankan the measurements are as follows, Screen Shot 2020-10-28 at 7.13.32 PM.png0 being darkest skin tone and 100 being lightest.

My brother and Jamaican friend of mine who tested have the same results.Despite that all three of us have different skintones. My Jamaican friend is similiar in pigmentation to Obama and my brother is a shade darker than me.

I think when it comes to populations with Ancient East African ancestry there are probably snps to make crazy amounts of melanin which explains why me and my brother are darker than my Jamaican 90% coastal west african friend and the South Sudanese who have the highest amounts of said ancestry are probably one of the darkest if not the darkest people on earth.I've seen extremely dark South Asian, so perhaps there's also an AASI specific snp for extra melanin?

My guess not having seen you, is that this - rs16891982 CG - should give a lighter brown color.
I am also AG at rs1426654 along with my paternal grandfather. Both my grandmothers are AA.
Paternal Grandfather is CG at rs16891982 and paternal grandmother is GG. Me and maternal grandmother do not have this SNP tested.
