Subtraction of known origin in G25

If I extract from Nino's dad his Tuscan admixture then for the rest of his ancestry I get:

    [1] "distance%=12.2274"

    NinoDadSaami

    Saami,40.8
    Karelian,24.2
    Finnish,18.8
    Vepsian,12.4
    Latvian,0.6
    Mansi,0.6
    Komi,0.4
    Nenets,0.4
    Selkup,0.4
    Yukagir,0.4
    Estonian,0.2
    Ingrian,0.2
    Ket,0.2
    Khanty,0.2
    Todzin,0.2

Nino said that this part of his ancestry is North Swedish Saami.

For Nino, if I extract his Swedish and Tuscan ancestry, for his North Swedish/Saami part I get:

    [1] "distance%=25.4581"

    NinoSaami

    Saami,24.4
    Finnish,22.2
    Karelian,19.4
    Vepsian,7.2
    Komi,4
    Khanty,2.2
    Dutch,2
    Irish,2
    Mansi,2
    Selkup,1.8
    Udmurt,1.8
    Nenets,1.6
    Swedish,1.4
    Yukagir,1.4
    Latvian,1.2
    Norwegian,1.2
    Greenlander,0.8
    Ket,0.8
    Scottish,0.6
    Nganassan,0.4
    Eskimo,0.2
    Even,0.2
    Ingrian,0.2
    Itelmen,0.2
    Nivh,0.2
    Russian,0.2
    Tatar,0.2
    Ulchi,0.2

Despite the big fit distance, the result is meaningful, isn't it?
I did this with scaled coordinates.

Thank you for using us as an example. May I ask how you did extract part of the ancestry?

When you did remove for example Tuscan from my dad. Did you use the full spreadsheet to fill in the rest or did you pick?

I've extracted Tuscan average from your dad, and then used full spreadsheet for nMonte.
With only averages spreadsheet he gets:

    [1] "distance%=12.5478"

    NinoDadSaami

    Saami,66.2
    Finnish_East,19.2
    Karelian,7.6
    Ingrian,3.6
    Finnish,1.4
    Latvian,1.2
    Lithuanian_SZ,0.6
    Estonian,0.2

    and you:

    [1] "distance%=26.128"

    NinoSaami

    Saami,83.6
    Finnish_East,3.6
    Ingrian,3.6
    Norwegian,2.4
    Finnish,1.4
    Karelian,1.2
    Swedish,1
    Icelandic,0.6
    Ket,0.6
    Vepsian,0.6
    Cossack_Kuban,0.2
    Estonian,0.2
    French_Brittany,0.2
    Irish,0.2
    Lithuanian_SZ,0.2
    Scottish,0.2
    Spanish_Soria,0.2

    Behind this is simple math:

    for every coordinate (PC1-PC25): YourDadSaamiPC1=(yourDadPC1-0.75*TuscanPC1)/(1-0.75)

I can, but the result would not be very impressive because these 2 ancestries are very similar.
