    Question regarding targeted SNP enrichment

Neparáczki 2019 Under Results stated the methods they used to obtain DNA results

We selected 168 phylogenetically informative Y chromosome SNP-s
DNA segments containing above SNP-s were enriched from the next generation sequencing (NGS) library of each sample with hybridization capture.
I have a couple of quick questions about this manner of testing.

    1) Is this type of testing also called GenoY25 assay or is this a different manner of testing?

    2) Would the raw data files possibly contain other Y-SNPs besides the 168 SNPs they chose? Is it possible this type of enrichment may also uncover other SNPs located (within the chromosome) very near the location of the SNP being enriched?
