Is MyTrueAncestry just using Gedmatch calculators?

I recently uploaded my 23andme raw data to MyTrueAncestry, which I thought was cool since they link you to actual historic figures and populations. But then I used this site called Gedmatch eurogenes and noticed that my results were similar, like “West_German”, “South_Dutch”. Gedmatch is older does that mean MyTrueAncestry is just using their populations?

They likely use K15, you'll have virtually the same distances to modern populations in both MTA and K15 4-Oracle

    Edit: My case
    Code:
    MyTrueAncestry:
    1. Spanish_Aragon (4.667)
    2. Spanish_Castilla_La_Mancha (5.124)
    3. Spanish_Valencia (5.891)
    4. Spanish_Andalucia (6.050)
    5. Spanish_Cantabria (7.072)
    6. Southwest_French (7.087)
    7. Spanish_Castilla_Y_Leon (7.858)
    8. Spanish_Murcia (8.027)

    K15 Eurogenes:
    Least-squares method.

    Using 1 population approximation:
    1 Spanish_Aragon @ 4.643454
    2 Spanish_Castilla_La_Mancha @ 5.142478
    3 Spanish_Valencia @ 5.886890
    4 Spanish_Andalucia @ 6.086361
    5 Spanish_Cantabria @ 7.039413
    6 Southwest_French @ 7.064031
    7 Spanish_Castilla_Y_Leon @ 7.816295
    8 Spanish_Murcia @ 7.998872

Wow that’s pretty much similar. What is the point then if gedmatch already does this? MyTrueAncestry offers other tests but you have to pay for them, they could just be other gedmatch calculators, seems suspicious.

The reason? Because someone saw they could make money. MTA certainly has some questionable things that have kept me from giving them any of my money or data.
