    It seems to me that there's a positive correlation between lifespan and size (at least in mammals). Also, how come humans developed menopause if they're programmed to live 38 years only (most women are fertile until they're almost 50)? Could a chimpanzee live as many as 80 years under certain conditions? What about dogs, could they some day reach 40?
