Haplogroup R30a and subgroups

Haplogroup R30a is quite a rare haplogroup which possibly make up less than 1% of population in indian sub continent
R30a is defined by the following mutations -G2056A,G3316A,T4232C,T5442C,G6764A,A9156G,A9242G,C 11047A,T12714C,T15055G .

It could be divided into three distinct subgroups(i have used the published full sequences and 3 different geno 2.0 results including mine)

R30a1- A4225G
R30a1a-T16126C,A16181G,T16209C
This subgroup is easily identifiable with the HVR1 itself and has its presence from punjab to kerala .
R30a1b-T4047C,A13933G,C16256T
R30a2-C9869G,T13161C,A13773G,T16172C,C16278T
This is my subclade .Though geno 2.0 doesnt test at locations 9869 and 13773 i am positive for other three locations .There is an almost similar result from a kerala nair individual too . Also have presence from iran to srilanka
R30a3-G10688A
Could be a possible subgroup .need to see more results to ascertain .

You are in the same subclade as mine. . I will lookup the new available samples and update here shortly.

Edit :As per present haplotree I am actually R30a1c .You also belong to R30a1c.It is just that 23andme do not test. Mtdna fully so you are not showing up as a perfect match .
