I'm brown. Punjabi from the Jatt tribe. Why do I have the Northwestern Caucasus and Northwestern European? Is that Steppe ancestry? I have no known Armenian ancestry or Pashtun (Afghani; I'm assuming) ancestry. I'm simply Northern Indian lol.
What I think I mean by Steppe is like the Getae Tribe and Scythians, Bactrians whatever. I don't know if that's a myth or if its confirmed now.
I’ve seen steppe shifted North Indians get 10% British/Irish pop in +2 oracles on gedmatch; NW euros are the most steppe people alive so it’s the best modern proxy I guess. Caucasian just some CHG related to the steppe.

The trace European could also be due to British colonization in India. A lot of African Americans have varying amounts of European DNA (we were talking about this in my anthropology class which really got me thinking), and I wouldn’t be surprised if this were the case for some Indians.
Also, why is Cloud Jr. banned?
He was a sock of that user Clizzoud who was posting doctored gedmatch percentages.
