Are Poles as Eastern or Western Europe on yourDNA??

Hello. I have 25-30% polish DNA, 15-20% Ukrainian, 38.5% Aromanians (vlachs), Germanic were not reported. Are Polish roots under Western Europe or East at MDLP K33 ? Because I don't understand this division
I have a few percent Celtic, Jewish, and Finno-Ugric. Distant Armenian (grandmother of my great grandfather).

    My K33 results:
    Balkan
    4.77%
    Baltic
    5.03%
    Caucasian
    0.93%
    Dravidian
    0.45%
    East European
    37.06%
    Finno Ugric
    5.11%
    Near East
    0.49%
    South European
    4.67%
    West Asian
    4.22%
    West European
    37.26%

In myheritage 38.5% balkan (vlachs), in DNA.land vlachs are east Balkan, west balkan and Sardinian, but in Eurogenes36 vlachs gene are Italian and Iberian!
Are Vlachs and polish genes in East Europe or West...?

Poland would never be plotted as western European. It looks like part of your Slavic ancestry, could be actually Germanic.

Poles are occasionally refereed to as Northwest Europeans in scientific literature. Here's an example...

This is certainly a minority. I would assume this would be ethnic Poles living in Germany.

This graph also has no E European component, if it did, Poles wouldn't be clustered as NW.

    They're ethnic Poles from Poland.

The way this works is that when Balts and other Slavs aren't included, Poles cluster strongly with Northwest Europeans. The reason being is that if not for Balto-Slavic specific founder effects, there's not much difference between NW and NE Europeans.

This can also effect the way that some ancestry tests assign Northwestern and Northeastern European ancestry proportions.

I am still awestruck at the homogeneity of the northern+central European spectrum.

by no test I have a Germanic component. showed neither myhertitage, DNAland, livingDNA nor gedmatch calculators. My Poles have lived in Ukraine and Slovakia for more than 300 years. I will understand that Poles from the West of Poland can count in Western Europe but I did not have any ancestors there. according to this calculator, the Russians also have 30-40% West European. This division into Western / Eastern Europe is strange. The rest seems to make sense

I for example score in this calculator 50.02% Westeuropean with my FTDNA raw data and 53.70% with my 23andMe v5 raw data.

This calculator is similar to Dodecad V3.

My guess is that probably this calculator is using some populations from around the Ural Mountains as reference for "East European".
