    St Eanswythe found, DNA may follow

    The remains of the 7th century saint St Eanswythe have been uncovered in Folkestone, Kent. She was a granddaughter of Ethelbert, king of Kent, who converted to Christianity under St Augustine. They aim to fund DNA analysis, so I hope they try crowdfunding. Here's the project site but I can't see anything here on that note as yet.
    Living DNA's former Cautious mode:
    Wales-related ancestry: 86.8%
    Cornwall: 8%
    North England-related ancestry: 5.2%
    Y line: Peak District, England. Big Y match: Scania, Sweden; TMRCA 1,250 ybp (YFull);
    mtDNA: traces to Glamorgan, Wales
    Mother's Y: traces to Llanvair Discoed, Wales
