The pre-Roman Gauls of Northern Italy were surely more like this Helvetii/Rhaetian sample rather than Latins from Rome, you don't agree?

Seems just a bit more northern/western shifted than Italic:

The CHE_IA (Swiss Iron-Age) sample is very similar to modern spaniards.

No Gauls in Veneto and most of Friuli, nor in cispadanian Piedmont. Also a large number of them were driven out (e.g. Boii) but the point is : since it makes "far more sense" can you prove Este culture is more linked to the Western Hallstatt zone than to other Proto-Villanovan derived cultures or even Illyrians ?

The French Iron age samples vary from North French to Southern and some are even mixed with early Iberians.

Why would not Gauls from North Italy be similar to them?

I can't say much about the archeological similarities between the various cultures of Western Europe at the time, but I suppose considering most of Northern Italy was Celtic speaking they must've had extensive contact with Western Hallstatt.
But eitherway this really doesn't matter, as Dewsloth showed Iron Age Latins and this Swiss sample are really similar, as are the Etruscans sampled so far.
